Position Summary

The Sr Machine Learning Engineer is responsible for designing and applying new machine learning techniques for Rekor’s computer vision applications.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Design, Integrate and evaluate new deep learning techniques/Models to improve accuracy of the core software product
  • Develop techniques to clean/refine our dataset used for training
  • Help guide the workflow for collecting and annotating data by our team of data entry specialists
  • Design and implement algorithmic/Agent logic associated with Computer Vision Models.
  • Test performance/accuracy of model changes
  • Experience with OpenCV and NVIDIA deep stream framework
  • Customize models via Neural Architecture Search to best fit for the application
  • Implement training code in Python and PyTorch Framework

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Master’s or higher-level degree in Machine Learning preferred
  • Strong understanding of neural network architectures such as CNN, RNN/LSTM, SGD, SSD
  • 3+ years experience with Python and C++
  • Knowledge of machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, Caffe, TensorFlow

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Experience with Nvidia CUDA coding
  • Publications in CVPR, ICCV, or BMVC
