We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Contract Manufacturing Manager, based in our Teaneck, NJ HQ, to lead and oversee our contract manufacturing operations.
This role is essential to ensuring quality, efficiency, and alignment with business goals in our production processes. Reporting directly to the Senior Director - Global Supply Chain, the Contract Manufacturing Manager will manage relationships with external manufacturers, drive performance metrics, and ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality and cost efficiency.
A day in the life and how you’ll make an impact:
- Own the Relationship: Lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and drive the strategic vision for our CM partnerships.
- Drive Excellence: Establish and monitor rigorous KPIs—ensuring that cost, quality, and delivery timelines aren't just met, but optimized.
- Solve Complex Problems: Collaborate with Product Development and Quality teams to navigate ECO/FCO purchasing and process enhancements.
- Mitigate Risk: Proactively identify supply chain bottlenecks and engineer solutions before they impact the bottom line.
- Scale the Future: Assess capacity planning to ensure our manufacturing footprint can keep pace with our global growth.
Requirements
- Experience: 5–7 years in Contract Manufacturing or Supply Chain within a multidisciplinary, high-tech environment.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business Administration.
- Technical Proficiency: Deep expertise in manufacturing processes, quality control systems, and ECO/FCO material purchasing.
- Negotiation Skills: A proven track record of securing cost efficiencies and managing high-stakes external performance.
- Certifications: APICS, Lean Six Sigma, or PMP credentials are highly preferred.
- Travel: Willingness to travel up to 20% to manufacturing sites to ensure operational excellence.
Physical Requirements:
This role may involve on-site or field-based activities. Depending on the position, tasks may include extended periods of sitting, standing, or walking; working in and around vehicle service areas, rental facilities, dealerships, manufacturing sites, or warehouse environments; and performing occasional manual tasks such as lifting or carrying up to 40 lbs, bending, or reaching. The role may also require travel, working in varying environmental conditions, and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) when appropriate. Compensation:
UVeye provides salary ranges that comply with the New Jersey State Law on salary transparency in job advertisements. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, qualifications, skills, location, education, and operational needs. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentives or other forms of compensation or benefits. The annual base salary range for this position is $85,000-$110,000.
