We seek an experienced technical leader to lead our MLOps Engineering Team Leader

In this role, you will lead a team of developers and build and maintain our machine learning infrastructure and deployment pipelines. This role combines technical expertise in machine learning operations with strong leadership abilities to guide our team of engineers in delivering scalable ML solutions.

A day in the life and how you’ll make an impact:

• Architect the AI Lifecycle: You’ll lead the design of enterprise-scale MLOps frameworks, ensuring our CI/CD pipelines for ML are as agile and robust as standard software engineering.
• Empower the Team: Beyond technical oversight, you are a talent magnet. You’ll recruit, mentor, and grow a squad of backend experts, fostering a culture of technical excellence and high trust.
• Bridge the Gap: You’ll serve as the vital link between Algorithm Engineers and Product teams, translating cutting-edge research into scalable business solutions.
• Optimize at Scale: Whether it’s model-serving architecture or GPU/CPU utilization, you’ll ensure our systems are high-performing, cost-efficient, and always available.
• Set the Standard: You’ll define the "how" behind our MLOps practices, enforcing standards that allow us to ship faster and more reliably than the competition.

Requirements:

• Education: BSc in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience.
• Engineering Depth: 7+ years of experience in Backend Engineering with a deep focus on Python.
• Leadership: 3+ years of proven experience leading technical teams and mentoring engineers.
• Domain Expertise: Strong background in software engineering principles applied to Machine Learning frameworks.
• Cloud Fluency: Professional experience with cloud ecosystems (AWS or GCP).
• Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to convey complex technical roadmaps to non-technical stakeholders.

Bonus if you have:

• Experience with MLOps platforms (MLFlow, Kubeflow)
• Experience with optimizing algorithm implementations
• Experience with GPU/CPU optimizations
