We are looking for a Technical Learning & Development (L&D) Manager to join our Operations team at our Teaneck, NJ Office. As a Technical Trainer at UVeye, you aren't just teaching - you are the architect of operational excellence. You will bridge the gap between complex R&D innovations and real-world execution.
A day in the life and how you’ll make an impact:
- Innovate & Educate - Lead high-energy training sessions (in-person and virtual) that transform Field Service Engineers into product experts.
- Master the Tech - Act as the ultimate escalation point, diving deep into advanced troubleshooting and hardware diagnostics to solve complex system puzzles.
- Create the Blueprint - Own the technical knowledge base. You’ll design SOPs and manuals that become the gold standard for our global operations.
- Collaborate at the Edge - Partner with R&D and Product teams to translate beta-testing feedback into scalable training programs before new tech even hits the market.
- Drive Growth - Track performance metrics to prove that your training programs aren't just informative—they’re driving customer satisfaction and operational speed.
Requirements:
- Expertise: 3+ years in Technical Training or Field Operations Management within a multi-disciplinary/hardware environment.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, or Computer Science).
- Technical Writing: Proven ability to synthesize complex hardware processes into clear, actionable SOPs and training materials.
- Problem Solving: A "systems-thinking" mindset with the ability to diagnose and resolve intricate technical failures.
- Ownership: An independent driver who can lead projects from initial concept to global rollout.
- Communication: Elite presentation skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences, from engineers to stakeholders.
- Mobility: Willingness to travel 30%+ and the physical ability to manage/set up industrial training equipment.
Ideally, we’re looking for:
- A background in the Automotive industry or high-growth Startups.
- Direct experience with Hardware System Installation.
Physical Requirements:
This role may involve on-site or field-based activities. Depending on the position, tasks may include extended periods of sitting, standing, or walking; working in and around vehicle service areas, rental facilities, dealerships, manufacturing sites, or warehouse environments; and performing occasional manual tasks such as lifting or carrying up to 40 lbs, bending, or reaching. The role may also require travel, working in varying environmental conditions, and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) when appropriate. Compensation:
UVeye provides salary ranges that comply with the Georgia State Law on salary transparency in job advertisements. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, qualifications, skills, location, education, and operational needs. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentives or other forms of compensation or benefits. The annual base salary range for this position is $85k – $100k.
