We are seeking a Data Operation Specialist to join our R&D Team in the US. The Data Operation Specialist will be responsible for performing data annotation and tagging tasks, collecting ground-truth data at various customer sites, and analyzing datasets using Python-based scripts. This role is crucial in ensuring high accuracy and quality standards while supporting the development and performance evaluation of AI algorithms.

A day in the life and how you’ll make an impact:



  • Perform data annotation and tagging tasks, ensuring high accuracy and quality standards.
  • Collect ground-truth data at various customer sites and analyze datasets using Python-based scripts.
  • Conduct performance reviews of third-party vendors and in-house team members, ensuring alignment with project goals.
  • Review and validate diverse data sets to assist in training AI algorithms, providing constructive feedback on data validation processes.
  • Collaborate with algorithm developers and various departments globally to bridge the gap between labeling concepts and technical constraints.
  • Oversee multiple concurrent projects, pivoting tasks or shifting priorities as directed by the Team Lead.
  • Drive continuous improvement in data operations by optimizing workflows and creating automation solutions using Python.
  • Report on data insights and contribute to cross-department collaboration to meet project milestones.



Requirements

  • Proven background of 2+ years in data annotation, data labeling, or QA, with a strong grasp of the field.
  • Technical background or a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related STEM field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for articulating project needs and collaborating effectively across departments.
  • A keen eye for detail with a quality-oriented mindset, ensuring accuracy in all tasks.
  • Experience in optimizing workflows and creating automation solutions using Python or similar languages.
  • Familiarity with machine learning and deep learning concepts is advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel to customer locations (up to 75% of the time), including driving and flying, with a valid Driver’s License.
  • Positive attitude, enthusiastic, and highly motivated with a willingness to learn.
  • Customer service and support experience is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to stand for long periods and work in various field conditions, including walking, kneeling, and inspecting vehicles under different weather conditions.
