Role Overview:

We are looking for a Senior Supply Chain Accountant/Analyst to join the Finance team as a remote employee (with frequent travel to Atlanta, GA, our North American headquarters in Teaneck, NJ, and other key supply chain sites). This role will participate in the company's financial operations related to supply chain and operations, driving strategic decision-making and optimizing processes as we continue to scale our business.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and analyze financial and operational data related to UVeye's supply chain and operations.
  • Develop and maintain perpetual inventory accounting processes.
  • Review all inventory movement transactions recorded in ERP for accuracy and make edits, corrections, or inputs as necessary, based on shipping and receipt records/documentation.
  • Assist with periodic physical counts to ensure inventory accuracy in ERP and make adjustments as necessary.
  • Provide analytical insights to improve supply chain efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Collaborate closely with the Operations department to align financial objectives with operating processes.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to leadership and stakeholders.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Approximately 10 years of experience in supply chain accounting/analysis.
  • Extensive experience working in perpetual inventory accounting environments.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain financial principles and best practices, including costing methods.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel frequently to Atlanta, Teaneck, NJ, and other key supply chain sites.
  • Tech-savvy with the ability to adapt to new systems and tools.
  • Creative problem-solving skills.
  • Strong business partnership skills, especially with Operations teams.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Bonus if you have:

  • Experience transitioning from periodic inventory accounting to perpetual inventory accounting.
  • Background in high-growth environments or with high-complexity capital equipment hardware.
  • Graduate-level education in Operations, Logistics, and/or Supply Chain Management.
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies in supply chain and finance.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and innovation.
