We are looking for an experienced North American Supply Chain Manager to join the US Operations Team. The NA Supply Chain Manager will report directly to the Global Supply Chain Director and will manage a team on the procurement and logistics services from a management perspective to ensure required supplies of commodities, facilities and service needs for program activities are mobilized efficiently and in a timely manner.
A day in the life and how you’ll make an impact:
- Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services.
- Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers and consumers
- Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
- Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets
- Supervise, coach and train future warehouse workforce
- Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements
- Oversee the delivery of systems from manufacturers to Mentor, OH and schedule LTL shipments out to customers
- Maintain inventory for UVEYE assets and consumable parts needed to accomplish system installs and maintenance.
- Manage Atalanta Office inventory levels and develop bench stock requirements to minimize parts lead times.
- Utilize ERP software (Priority) to design a virtual warehouse needed to control inventory levels, signal replenishments, and deliver reports.
- Establish FedEx, UPS and USPS accounts to expedite the delivery process to Field Service Representatives (FSR).
- Monitor delivery schedules and share with Customer Success Managers to enhance the customer experience.
- Improve scheduling and planning for scalability
- Manage the Spare Parts supply chain:
- Working with the Supply Chain in Israel to source the spare parts
- Finding local vendors, thereby saving money and time
- Manage the stock in the S/P hubs
- Responsibility for making sure that shipping to customers is done according to SLA’s
- Setting up and working with local vendors using the ERP system to create demand and PO’s
- Setting up framework with service providers (UPS/FEDEX, etc.) to improve charge rates, payment terms, and traceability
- Stays current with purchasing technology trends and oversees purchase and implementation, as necessary.
Requirements
- B.A. required/Masters in supply chain management, logistics, or business administration preferred.
- Minimum 3 experience as a logistics or purchasing manager.
- Strong leadership, analytical and organizational skills; demonstrated ability to work both independently and within a team, assess priorities, and manage multiple activities with attention to detail, meeting tight deadlines under pressure.
- Excellent problem-solving capacity, with demonstrated ability for considerable analysis and sound judgment to find solutions in a complex environment with shifting and competing priorities.
- Excellent cross-cultural communication (both oral and written) and interpersonal skills demonstrated by ability to interact professionally with culturally and linguistically diverse staff, stakeholders, clients and consultants.Familiar with ERP Software for both Purchasing and Warehouse Inventory Management
- Advanced Computer skills including proficiency in google suite programs.
- Willing to travel 10% of the time.
