We are hiring a highly skilled and motivated application Engineer student to join our product and projects team and contribute to developing our automotive products.

A day in the life and how you’ll make an impact:

  • Become proficient in UVeye's multi-disciplinary inspection systems.
  • Collaborate with R&D teams (Hardware, Software) to define and develop new capabilities that align with customer needs and expectations.
  • Participate in the development of complex computer vision algorithms, encompassing both AI and Classic methodologies, for anomaly detection and stereo imaging applications.
  • Collaborate with Customer Support and Engineering teams to facilitate the seamless transition of new products and processes from R&D to general availability readiness.
  • Take ownership and lead both Alpha and Beta activities of new products and features at customer sites, both onsite and remotely.
  • Lead R&D matrix work utilizing Agile methodology to ensure timely delivery of the product roadmap with uncompromised quality.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled as a 3rd-year student in Engineering (Electronics, Bio-medical, Mechanical or Computer Science) with at least one year until graduation.
  • Availability for a minimum of 3 full working days per week (60%)
  • Proficient in both English and Hebrew.
  • Experience working in tech/analysis positions - advantage
  • Experience working with Linux OS - advantage
  • Experience working with cloud-based products - advantage
  • Experience working with multi-disciplinary systems - advantage
  • Demonstrated leadership and execution skills.
  • Strong work ethic, driven by a desire to learn and achieve independence.
