We are looking for a highly diligent candidate with excellent attention to details for the role of Quality Manager. The Quality Manager is responsible for monitoring and evaluating internal processes, examining products to determine their quality, engaging with customers, and gathering product feedback, among other duties. This role will occupy an important position and will need to be highly conscientious and responsible, as defective products could cost the company significant losses.
A day in the life and how you'll make an impact:
- Defining and implementing quality control processes for Supplier, Production, Installation and Service
- Establishing quality control dashboard in order to monitor and control UVeye quality performance
- Lead for RCA (Root Cause Analysis) and CAPA (Corrective And Preventive Action) in case of reactive quality events and issues
- Driving and leading with no authority all related groups in order to continuously improve quality performance
- Accountability for CM (Contract Manufacturing) quality team and its performance
- Lead all required certification based on business and customers needs, such as UL, CE
- Ownership on MRB (Material Review Board) process
- Ensure establishing a robust processes of examining the quality of raw materials that are used in production ensuring high product quality
- Ensure establishing an evaluation of the final output of products to determine their quality
- Accountability for rejecting products that fail quality standards
- Engaging with customers and gathering quality feedback
- Reporting to upper management on quality standard issues
Requirements
- Degree in business administration or relevant field.
- Quality control certification is advantageous.
- Problem resolving Black belt certification is advantageous.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Managing without authority.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Data analysis and statistical aptitude.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Highly conscientious and diligent.
- Ability to travel with the team up to 20% of the time
Reports to: VP of Operations
Location: 500 Frank W Burr Boulevard, Teaneck, NJ.
