About the Role
As a Staff Engineer, you’ll own multiple product components end-to-end. You’ll drive architectural decisions, solve hard engineering problems, and collaborate cross-functionally to take products from concept to production. You’re experienced with AI tools (Claude Code, Cursor), deep tech systems, and comfortable moving fast in startup environments. Your role is pivotal-you work on what the customer needs, not what’s easiest.
Key Responsibilities
• Take full business responsibility for assigned product components, collaborating across Product, Operations, QA, and Algo teams
• Design and ship scalable, reliable systems; optimize for performance, observability, and monitoring
• Own deep tech solutions (ML, computer vision, etc.) from prototype to production maturity
• Solve hard engineering problems: reliability, quality, performance, and system optimization
Basic Qualifications
• 10+ years software development experience; proficiency in Python, C#, or similar languages
• Startup experience: led the journey from MVP to production maturity
• Proven track record shipping deep tech systems (ML, computer vision, etc.) at scale
• Expert-level problem-solving: reliability, observability, performance optimization, system design
• Hands-on with AI-powered development tools (Claude Code, Cursor); passionate about leveraging AI effectively
• University degree
• Strong cross-functional communication; able to influence and drive business outcomes across teams
• Deep specialization or expertise in a specific domain (ML/CV/systems/etc.)
