The Role

We’re hiring a first, senior, consultative seller to win enterprise fleet accounts (500 vehicles or larger). You’ll own the full cycle—from strategic prospecting and multi-threading to executive alignment, business case/ROI, negotiation, and expansion. This is a hands-on builder role for a tech-savvy seller who can demo an AI product, speak data pipelines at a high level, and navigate complex, multi-stakeholder deals.

What You’ll Do

  • Hunt and close net-new enterprise logos; then expand within strategic accounts (land-and-expand).

  • Sell a GenAI Assistant that unifies telematics, fuel, maintenance, safety, and other fleet data to help optimize fleets — craft tailored demos and ROI stories by persona (Ops, Safety/Risk, Finance, IT, Procurement).

  • Orchestrate complex cycles (RFPs, security reviews, legal/procurement), building champions and executive sponsors.

  • Quantify value (cost reduction, risk/safety improvements, utilization uplift) and run rigorous business cases.

  • Forecast with discipline, maintain crisp CRM hygiene, and beat your number.

  • Report directly to the CEO and partner with Product and Marketing to tighten messaging, feedback loops, and win plans.

  • Represent Roadz at fleet events and executive briefings.

What You’ll Bring

  • 5–10+ years of enterprise SaaS/new-logo sales with commercial enterprise fleets.

  • Proven wins in multi-stakeholder, technical sales.

  • Domain fluency across fleet tech, including telematics/ELD, safety, maintenance, fuel, compliance, etc.

  • Technical credibility: comfortable whiteboarding high-level integrations (APIs, data schemas), discussing workflows, and translating outcomes for both business and IT.

  • Methodical operator: pipeline generation mastery, consistent quota attainment, clean forecasting, and referenceable enterprise closes.

  • Executive presence & storytelling: clear, concise, and consultative.

  • Startup DNA: get-it-done approach, bias to action, ownership, and process building.

  • Rolodex: Relationships with large fleets.

Nice to Have

  • Experience selling AI/analytics, data platforms, or workflow automation.

  • Formal sales training.

How We Measure Success (First 12 Months)

  • New-logo ARR and multi-year TCV closed vs. plan.

  • Qualified pipeline creation and stage conversion rates.

  • Executive sponsor depth and multi-threading strength in target accounts.

  • Expansion revenue and product adoption milestones post-land.
