Responsibilities:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly technical professional to join our team at Ottopia as a Technical Integration and Support Engineer. In this role, you will provide hands-on tier 1 and tier 2 support to our customers, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance of Ottopia's products with their software and hardware.

What would your day-to-day look like?

  • Morning tasks focus on resolving support tickets with precision and collaborating with R&D to address complex issues. Strategic customer meetings dominate mid-morning, steering deployment discussions and troubleshooting to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Weekly responsibilities include in-depth analysis of customer product interactions to improve user experience and update the knowledge base, enhancing proficiency and customer understanding.
  • Monthly duties extend to managing new releases' deployment, covering planning, execution, and customer hardware testing. On-site installations at new customer locations are crucial for establishing relationships and seamless product integration.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree; BS.c/BA in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering preferred.
  • 3+ years experience in customer support and/or implementation.
  • Strong networking and Linux-based device knowledge.
  • Hands-on experience with hardware and software integration.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English.
  • Experience with troubleshooting electronics and vehicle communication systems - a plus.
  • Willingness to travel internationally for deployments and customer support.
