We are seeking an experienced to lead globally our IT and Security.

You will be responsible for:

IT Management:

  • Overseeing the company’s IT infrastructure, including network, servers, hardware, and software systems, to ensure their reliability and optimal performance
  • Manage a team of outsource IT professionals to ensure seamless operation, support, and maintenance of the company’s technology infrastructure
  • Providing strategic guidance on technology investments, upgrades, and advancements that align with business goals and objectives
  • Managing the IT budget, procurement of equipment, and vendor relationships to optimize resources and deliver value
  • Overseeing continuous education and training programs for IT

Security Compliance:

  • Leading efforts to achieve and maintain security compliance to industry standards, including SOC2 and ISO27001, by implementing and managing security controls, policies, and procedures
  • Research about relevant regulation and lead certification efforts, especially when entering new markets
  • Conducting regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and risk assessments to identify potential security gaps and address them promptly

Improving Security Posture:

  • Defining and implementing robust security measures to protect company assets, data, and intellectual property against internal and external threats
  • Staying current with industry best practices and emerging security trends to continuously enhance the company’s security posture
  • Developing, documenting, and enforcing security processes and protocols across the organization to ensure consistent adherence to security standards
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate security practices into the software development lifecycle and other business processes

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Proven experience of 5+ years in a leadership role overseeing IT and security functions in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Strong understanding of security frameworks and compliance standards, such as SOC2, ISO27001, GDPR, or HIPAA
  • Hands-on experience with security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, authentication systems, etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage IT teams, both in-house and outsource contractors, to achieve operational excellence
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and executive leadership
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or similar are highly desirable

Nice to Have:

  • Experience working in startups or scale-up environments
  • Experience in the mobility industry
  • Familiarity with American Fed-RAMP or State-RAMP
