The will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Automated Test Equipment systems for manufacturing and quality control processes. This function will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including design engineers, manufacturing engineers, and quality control personnel, to ensure the timely delivery of reliable and accurate test solutions.
Your day to day will include:
- Designing and developing Automated Test Equipment (ATE) systems for manufacturing and quality control processes
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including design engineers, manufacturing engineers, and quality control personnel
- Developing test programs, scripts, and procedures for various testing stages
- Ensuring the accuracy and reliability of test results and troubleshooting any issues that arise
- Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation, including test specifications, procedures, and reports
- Overseeing the maintenance and calibration of ATE equipment
- Continuously evaluating and improving test methodologies, processes, and equipment
- Support with debugging of test failures from production line and field failures
- Monitor, analyze and continually improve ATE performance
- Staying updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in ATE
You’d be a good fit if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience in designing and developing ATE systems
- Strong knowledge of electronic circuits, digital and analog signal processing, test instrumentation, and programming languages
- Experience in leading and managing a team of engineers and technicians
- Familiarity with industry standards and methodologies for ATE system design
- Proficiency in using ATE software development tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality in test system development and documentation
