As a Controller at NoTraffic, you will play a critical role in overseeing and managing the financial operations of the company. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, providing strategic financial guidance, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and reporting to the CFO.

Your day to day will include:

  • Prepare timely and accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
  • Lead the annual budgeting process, collaborating with various departments to establish financial targets
  • Monitor and analyze budget variances, identifying areas of concern and proposing corrective actions
  • Oversee day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and internal controls
  • Implement and maintain effective internal control procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Assess and mitigate financial risks, recommending and implementing appropriate control measures
  • Optimize financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy
  • Supervise and mentor a team of finance professionals, providing guidance and support
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry best practices to ensure compliance

You’d be a good fit if you have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A relevant professional certification (e.g., CPA) is mandatory
  • Minimum of 2 years of post-internship experience in finance or accounting roles, preferably including experience at a Big 4 firm
  • Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
  • Proficient in financial software systems and advanced MS Excel skills
  • Experience with Netsuite is a plus
  • Experience working with Inventory is a plus
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
