The NOC Operator is an exciting and critical role for NoTraffic. Our NOC Operators are our first line of defense and provide monitoring, support, and resolution of hardware and software issues in the field. This isn’t your normal help desk where you are solving user issues, but a proactive monitoring team that is obsessed with ensuring that IoT devices located across the nation are up and running perfectly. This team operates around the clock, and works closely with the development team to resolve complicated challenges as it relates to traffic and hardware.
Your day to day will include:
- Proactively review devices for health using key performance indicators like uptime, resource allocation, and other critical stats
- Respond to alerts and events occurring and provide initial remediation efforts
- Monitor live vehicle and pedestrian traffic to ensure optimal service state and identify potential traffic issues
- Work on data projects to pull data from databases and understand what is going on
- Provide support to NoTraffic clients and partners to facilitate solutions
- Owns our incident management and response, engaging with subject matter experts to drive resolution
- Create information-rich tickets to help narrow the scope of troubleshooting, support continual improvement, and enable reporting and analysis of event and incident trends
- Drives creation of knowledgebase content, capturing lessons learned and tribal knowledge
- Supports deployment, installation, and optimization projects

Nice to Have:
- Have tech industry certifications
- Have previous experience with Traffic Management
