Location Tokyo area.
The role involves frequent travel within Japan and regular international travel, primarily to Israel.
About the position
As a Field Application Team Leader, you will be a key technical figure leading Hailo’s engagement with customers in Japan. You will be the direct technical point of contact for our customers, supporting them on the technical aspects of Hailo's business engagement and taking a significant part in bringing Hailo's technology to mass deployment in products.
You will understand customers’ use cases of Hailo products, system structure and host, technical challenges, and provide customers with technical support including suggestions, and facilitate the development and design towards design-ins and design-wins.
You will have the important role in communicating with Management, Engineering and R&D of Hailo’s customers, allow them to understand the value of Hailo by having knowledge of competitive alternatives at customers, business strategy through joining business meetings with customers.
Analyze the industry, the Trend of Technology and Systems and contribute to Senior Level Management to navigate Hailo AI in the right direction.
Responsibilities
- Be an expert in Hailo’s products. Have a deep technical comprehension of the product features (both SW and HW) and product roadmap.
- Master Hailo’s technical messaging to support business development and sales processes.
- Deliver technical support for the regional Business and Account Managers – helping them grow the business in your region.
- Lead customer meetings together with Senior Sales Director, distributor and independently as needed, and provide end-to-end technical support, including presentation, pre-sale, post-sale, productization.
- Present the Hailo solution and conduct training sessions for customers.
- Understand the customer’s technical use case for Hailo’s technology and the customer’s system comprehensively.
- Proactively help the customer evaluate and integrate the Hailo solution and help the customer to reach productization of their product when it comes to the Hailo solution.
- Analyze customer requirements and document gaps in the Hailo solution. Report them and proactively work to close these gaps.
- Create a relationship with the customers, helping them understand the Hailo solution and get a better understanding of their requirements.
- Manage a technical alignment process with customers to communicate status to customers, derive a technical work plan with the customer and generate feedback to Product Development teams and R&D.
- Work closely and collaborate with Hailo’s business group to conquer business milestones and work with Hailo’s product team to drive new product requirements.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a FAE at Semiconductor industry
- 10 years systems design experience, including embedded Systems
- 3+ years of Global Business Experience
- Experience in NN and Deep learning: Tensorflow and Onnx programming skills
- Embedded systems experience (Linux and/or RTOS)
- Programming languages: Python, C/C++ -
- Trained background: Computer Science, Information Technology, or other science/technology
